Bullying is a pattern of behaviour where the bully tries to influence, intimidate or force the victim to do something they don’t want to do. Bullying can be physical, mental or emotional. Often, the victim doesn’t know why they’ve been targeted.

Stick by your friend’s side and talk to an adult who can help, like a teacher, parent or counsellor. Most victims feel alone and unlovable, but you can help by staying by your friend’s side.

If you’re being bullied, talk to an adult you trust. Let them know what’s going on and how it is making you feel. It’s never okay to be bullied, and you should never feel ashamed of asking for help or talking about why you feel bullied.
